Learn new skills, make new friends, get some fresh air and exercise, and help us restore Swansea University’s Botanical Garden to its former glory.
Set in the grounds of our Singleton Park Campus, our listed Botanical Garden contains rare and unusual botanical specimens as well as resident foxes, bats, hedgehogs and even an occasional otter!
We are currently restoring this listed site, removing invasive species and creating new planting schemes and pathways to improve accessibility.
Our garden volunteers usually meet with our Grounds Team at the Botanical Garden Building every Wednesday afternoon between 1pm and 4pm to help with a variety of projects from clearing paths through to creating wildlife habitats.
Why don't you get involved too?
If you've got some spare time on a Wednesday afternoon, please come and join us. Just wear some old clothes and footwear suitable for gardening in, and bring a cup along with you if you enjoy a cuppa while you work.
