How do January Entry courses work?

These programmes feature an accelerated first year, running from January to September. Most courses offer a choice of fully online study or a blended learning approach that combines online and on-campus teaching.

Upon successful completion of Year 1, you will receive your results in September and progress directly into Year 2, which begins in October and follows the standard undergraduate academic timetable. The schedule allows for holidays at Easter and Christmas. This accelerated route allows you to continue your studies without delay and graduate sooner. Start your bright future this January.

Living off-campus

While many students enjoy the convenience and community of university accommodation, some prefer the independence of living in private sector houses or flats in Swansea.  If halls of residence aren’t for you, we’ve got you covered.
