Colloquium Confirms Swansea’s Place as Centre of Excellence in Maritime Law

The two-day event organised by the Institute of International Trade and Shipping Law, a recognised research centre within the Law School, was a great success attracting 62 delegates from 10 different legal jurisdictions. In addition to academics, delegates from various sectors of maritime practice, such as solicitors, barristers, consultants and marine surveyors, showed a great interest to the Colloquium. The Department  for Transport was also represented by Mr Andrew Stewart from the Marine Legal Division.
