Student of MSc Management (Business Analytics)
Why did you choose to study at Swansea University?
I have chosen Swansea University for many reasons. Firstly, SU was recommended to me by a close friend who knew exactly my interests and ambitions. Secondly, I found the course that matches exactly what I was looking for in terms of content and quality. Finally, I was aware that Swansea City is a perfect place for students being affordable and where you can enjoy your free time.
Can you tell us about your course and what did you enjoy the most?
I am doing an MSc in Management (Business Analytics) which is a course that combines management with IT.
As someone who got a background in Engineering and worked in management and IT, this course presents a boost for my career by providing me with the right tools and techniques to fit the current job market.
The best thing I enjoyed was the endless opportunities to network, either with my fellow students or with employers that were frequently invited to the school of management to help us with our journey.
What are your three favourite things about Swansea?
- The community. Swansea is very diverse and has a very active Muslim community which makes you feel home
- The beach. The name explains itself
- Student life. The city is peaceful, active, and affordable
Would you recommend Swansea University to other international students?
Yes, I would definitely recommend SU to international students like me.
