Undergraduate Programmes 

Candidates are expected to have successfully completed a recognised Foundation Programme, with a minimum pass rate of 60% - 75%; with IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 in each part of the test (or equivalent). 

Postgraduate Programmes 

Successful completion of a relevant Bachelors degree from a recognised institution with a minimum of a Second Class Lower Division CGPA 7.0 | Master's CGPA 6.5 with IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in each part of the test (or equivalent). 

Engineering Foundation Programme

Candidates are expected to have achieved Upper secondary school graduation certificate (5 or above is between GCSE and A' level standard) with IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 in each part of the test (or equivalent).

English Language Training Services:

If you do not have an IELTS test certificate, please check our approved list of English tests. Swansea University offer a range of pre-sessional programmes through our English Language Training Services

Swansea University International Scholarships

Swansea University offers a range of international scholarships to help the most talented and ambitious students to reach their potential. To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must have submitted an application to study at Swansea University as you will need your student number to complete the scholarship form.  

If you wish to be considered for a scholarship, it is advised that you should apply to Swansea University as soon as possible to avoid any possible delays.

The Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship

Chevening Postgraduate Scholarship

Chevening is the UK government’s international scholarships programme. Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organisations, we offer awards to study in the UK for one year on a fully funded master’s degree course.

Successful Chevening candidates come from a diverse range of countries and backgrounds, but they all demonstrate the passion, vision and skills needed to shape a better world.
