Swansea University has been ranked as the 15th best university in the UK in the StudentCrowd University Awards 2022, and has claimed the 20th position in the Students’ Union category.
The StudentCrowd University Awards are the only independent awards based entirely on verified student reviews and are an important resource for prospective students when deciding on which university to attend.
StudentCrowd analysed a total of 15,871 university reviews to select the top 20 across 11 different categories. The winners are selected based on their average review score over the 24-month period from 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2022.
StudentCrowd said: "The StudentCrowd awards are based entirely on authentic student reviews. They demonstrate the value students place on what universities are doing, to create fantastic learning environments in the post-COVID world. Student voice is more important now than ever and engaging in student reviews is a fantastic way to show universities are listening and responding to what their students are saying."
In addition to its strong performance in the StudentCrowd Awards 2022, Swansea has also ranked well for student and course satisfaction in other notable league tables:
- 12th for overall student satisfaction in the 2021 National Student Survey.
- 6th in the UK for course satisfaction in the Guardian University Guide 2022.
- 24th overall in the in the Guardian University Guide 2022.
