From providing modelling for the Welsh Government to guide policy response to the global pandemic, to developing digital technology to support individuals in the criminal justice system to desist from crime, to tackling online cyber threats and addressing energy poverty through solar power; the astonishing range of research and innovation carried out at Swansea University was in the spotlight at the Research and Innovation Awards 2022.

Researchers from across the University were invited to submit entries with over 100 received, spread over the 13 award categories. Each application exemplified the quality, relevance and positive global impact of Swansea University’s research and its potential to inspire.
We’d like to thank our all of our collaborators and sponsors whose support is vital in producing such amazing research & innovation and staging the awards themselves.
