EU-backed multi-University Partnership
ASTUTE, ASTUTE 2020, and ASTUTE EAST were part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government and participating Higher Education Institutions.
In total, the European Regional Development Fund and ASTUTE’s academic partners have invested £53.6 million of public money into the operation between 2010 and 2022. For every £1 of public funds spent the operation has generated £10 for the Welsh economy, resulting in an economic impact of £541 million.
