About

Professor Rowley holds a personal chair within Biosciences. He has held several positions during his career in Swansea University including Head of the School of Biological Sciences and Dean of the then Faculty of Science. He currently works part-time in the University.

Professor Rowley is impact lead for Swansea’s UoA7 submission (2016-2020) and is a member of the Royal Society’s International Collaboration Awards Panel (2020-2022). He was also a Panel Chair for the Norwegian Research Council from 2016-2018.

Career Highlights

Teaching Interests

My teaching focus has been in the development of skills within cell biology, immunology and disease ecology. As of 2020-21 onwards, I will not be involved in delivering teaching at undergraduate level.
