Dai began his career as a Geography teacher in Secondary schools in 1996 in both North and South Wales before moving in to the alternative provision sector in 2004 as a behaviour support teacher working with learners who exhibited a range of ALN and had been excluded from or were deemed at risk of permanent exclusion from education across KS2 – KS4. Since moving in to Higher Education in 2015 Dai has taught across both undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes relating to education including those offering professional development for teachers and teaching assistants and has supervised a number of MA dissertations across a range of topics.
