About

Rebecca Pratchett is an Associate Professor in Digital Education in the School of Health and Social Care. With extensive experience in designing and delivering education both locally and internationally, she is the programme director for the MA Education for the Health Professions and the PGCert Education for the Health Professional Educator (International). 

Originally trained in Psychology at the University of Glasgow, she moved to Swansea University to complete a PhD in Social Work & Social Care (Kinship Care). Moving into healthcare education, she holds Senior Fellowship of the HEA and UKAT Recognised Practitioner in Advising status.

She has taught in-person on four continents and is actively engaged in advancing digital and transnational education at Swansea University. Her work involves supporting healthcare educators and students through innovative curriculum design, personalised learning journeys, and evidence-based teaching practices.
