About
Rhodri is a bioanalytical chemist and Lecturer in Biomedical Science. His research focuses on the development of new instrumentation and methods for chromatography and mass spectrometry, and the application of data analysis to large mass spectrometry data sets.
Previously, he worked at the EPSRC's National Mass Spectrometry Facility, where he conducted research using a number of instruments providing analytical services to research groups across the UK.
Rhodri is a trustee of the British Mass Spectrometry Society and a member of its Executive Committee.
He received his PhD from Swansea University with a thesis on the development of a helium plasma ionisation source. He also holds a BSc in Chemical, Analytical, and Forensic Science from the University of Wales Swansea.
