About
Born into a family of musical coal miners, Susie’s formative years were spent hanging about at the record department of her local branch of Woolworth’s. Undeterred by life obstacles that included attending a church school, she moved to London where she learned the art of Gothic dancing. At St George’s Hospital in Tooting, she discovered that there is more than one meaning to the word ‘stool’. Susie migrated back to South Wales to study midwifery practice and soon discovered that what Dylan Thomas wrote about Swansea is very true.
