Following this week’s confirmation that Instructure, the provider of Canvas, has reached an agreement with the unauthorised actor, and after close monitoring, this incident is now formally closed. Although the matter is resolved, Digital Services will continue to review and strengthen our security controls to protect services and data. We will share further updates if needed. Service is available again after a period of downtime and is being actively monitored to ensure all is well

Digital Services confirms the ERP (ABW) upgrade was successful. The system is now available and the Digital Team is actively monitoring performance to ensure it operates as expected. The essential maintenance for the Learner Gateway (https://learner.swansea.ac.uk) and the LG desktop client, scheduled from 6:00 am to 8:00 am on Tuesday, 12 May, has been successfully completed. The system is now operational and functioning as intended. Furthermore, the student records system (SITS), including https://evision.swansea.ac.uk and the SITS desktop client, is also accessible. Should you encounter any difficulties, please reach out to the IT Service Desk at 01792 604000 (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm) or submit a ticket through the Service Centre.
