At Swansea ELTS, we work hard to enable every student to develop and achieve their full potential.
We are accredited by both BALEAP and the British Council. As part of Swansea University’s Student Services, ELTS is part of a wider team which is the proud winner of a number of major national awards.
In co-operation with our colleges and schools, English Language Training Services (ELTS) has developed a full-time pre-sessional course for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The course is available for 6 weeks.
The course is designed for you if:
- you need to develop your academic skills, understanding of subject-specific English terminology, and academic English language ability as a condition of entry to your college or school at Swansea University.
- you have already met the university’s English language conditions but would like experience of UK academic study and expectations in order to be as well prepared as possible before starting your academic programme at Swansea University.
- you have already met the IELTS Writing requirement for your course and are no more than 0.5 below in any other skills, or you have already met the overall IELTS requirement for your course and are no more than 0.5 below in Writing
- Class sizes restricted to 18 students
- Minimum age 18
- Daily schedule 9.30am-1pm
- Online only or on Campus only: Conditions apply
