The University of Lucerne traces its roots back to the 16th century, but it has only existed as a modern university since 2000. The University is located in Lucerne, a picturesque city in central Switzerland, set on the shores of Lake Lucerne and surrounded by the Swiss Alps.
You can expect warm summers and cold winters in Lucerne and you won’t be short of things to see and do! Lucerne has a lively music scene, and one of the best preserved medieval old towns in the country.

ACCOMMODATION: The University of Lucerne has an allocation of furnished rooms at Student Mentor Foundation Lucerne (SMFL), which are exclusively reserved for mobility students. You will receive further information during the online registration for a mobility semester - please note that the University of Lucerne cannot guarantee that you will be allocated a room.
