The Thrive Bursary is available to new, self-funding international students enrolling on an undergraduate course or postgraduate taught course at Swansea University.
Eligibility is based on your country of domicile, with full details of eligible countries and all bursary conditions are outlined below.

The Thrive bursary is a £4,000 reduction in tuition fees for the first year of study, with a progression bursary of £2,000 in subsequent years (applied as a discount off tuition fees). |

The Thrive Bursary is awarded automatically to eligible applicants, so no separate application is required.
Eligibility
The Thrive Bursary is open to students studying taught undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes whose ordinary residence is in one of the countries listed below. Your ordinary residence is the country where you have been domiciled for the last 5 years and excludes countries in which you reside purely for the purpose of studying.

The following candidates are NOT eligible for the Thrive Bursary:
- Students studying a PhD, MPhil, MRes, Master's by Research, Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma or Professional courses.
- Students who have previously received the Nepal or Sri Lanka Bursary.
