Our LLM Students at the Wales Tech Fair
At Swansea University, our mission goes beyond delivering a contemporary, research-led legal education. We are equally committed to preparing our students for successful careers by embedding employability at the heart of everything we do.
Alongside dedicated Employability sessions held each Wednesday afternoon, we actively connect students with industry through high-value networking opportunities. In late November, four of our Legal Tech students—Ogultach Vellayeva, Emmanuel N. Okegbue, T. Abid and I. Iboroma—attended Wales Tech Week’s Talent4Tech event at the International Convention Centre Wales in Newport, under the supervision of our Industry Partnerships Lead, Morwenna Tyler.
The event offered an inspiring and practical programme, giving students direct exposure to employers, emerging technologies and real-world career pathways. It further strengthened their curiosity, confidence and enthusiasm to contribute to a rapidly evolving legal landscape shaped by innovation and technology.
We are proud to deliver an innovative LLM in Legal Tech and Commercial Law, attracting students from across the globe. Through initiatives such as this, we continue to broaden our students’ horizons, enhance their professional networks and strengthen their employability. Further industry-focused activities are already planned for the second term, reinforcing our commitment to career-ready legal education.
