Swansea Law Clinic have announced the launch of a new Personal Injury advice clinic, which will be delivered in partnership with London-based firm, Hodge Jones & Allen.
Hodge Jones and Allen are an award-winning firm that have been helping people right wrongs, fight injustice and deal with a variety of personal legal matters for over 45 years. Their specialised solicitors have been at the heart of many of the UK’s landmark cases, protecting people’s rights and lives in the process.
The Personal Injury Clinic will offer free 30-minute confidential personal injury advice appointments to members of the public with a member of the Hodge Jones & Allen Personal Injury team. This will be supported by Swansea Law Clinic’s student advisors, who will be offered an excellent opportunity to pick up new skills that will be essential for their future legal careers.
The Clinic will be able to help members of the public with:
- Road Traffic Accidents including claims involving pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, and other modes of transport
- Accidents at Work
- Accidents in Public Places
- Fatal Accident & Injury
- Injuries caused by defective products
- Serious & Complex Injury such as head injuries, amputations, spinal cord injuries and serious orthopaedic and psychiatric injuries
- Burns, Scalding & Scarring Claims
- Dental Injury
- Eye Injury
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
Speaking on the new Clinic, Swansea Law Clinic Director, Professor Richard Owen said:
