Zeiss Axio Imager Z2m

Axio Imager 2 from ZEISS is your system platform tailored to demanding materials analysis tasks, development of new materials as well as quality control.  You always profit from crisp images and high optical performance. This applies in particular to sophisticated contrasting techniques, e.g. the Circular Differential Interference Contrast (C-DIC) and polarization contrast. Use the motorized stand to achieve reproducible illumination settings and, consequently, constant image quality. You always obtain comparable results and high productivity by automating your workflow.

The Imager is also part of Zeiss' correlative workflow which spans from XRM to light microscopy to electron microscopy. Zeiss' 'Shuttle & Find' software allows for the seamless relocation of identified regions of interest between multiple scale ranges to best take advantage of the advantages of each instrument. While integrating this with the 'Connect' add-on for Zen Core, it allows for the data to be visualised in a much more informative manner with several images from different scale-lengths/techniques allowed to be placed over one another.
