The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) are now offering Foundation Chartered Manager status for students on accredited programmes.
This means on successful completion of either the undergraduate programme (including the Final Year Project), or the Level 7 postgraduate programme, students will be able to use the letters fCMgr after their name.
This is in addition to receiving the CMI Level 5 Certificate (subject to completing and passing the undergraduate programme including the Final Year Project), and the CMI Level 7 Certificate at postgraduate level (subject to completing and passing specific modules).
Furthermore, the year in industry that the School of Management offers on the 4-year undergraduate programme also counts towards the 3 years’ experience required for application for full Chartered Manager status.
This is an exciting new addition to add value to your degree programme and ensure you are one step ahead of the crowd when it comes to applying for jobs. Foundation Chartered Manager gives learners earlier professional recognition and access to the tools to facilitate their continuing professional development.
