The Economics department at Swansea University School of Management is delighted to announce a webinar with renowned economist and author Vicky Pryce.

Vicky Pryce will be talking about gender inequality in the UK and the role of government in addressing it.
Her talk will cover evidence for gender pay gaps and motherhood penalties, and international policy variation on these issues, drawing lessons for UK policy design.
Professor Vicky Pryce is Chief Economic Advisor at the Centre for Economics and Business Research. She is former joint head of the UK Government Economics Service and was director-general for economics at the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills, and has been a partner at KPMG. She is a Fellow and Council member of the UK Academy for Social Sciences, a Fellow of the Society of Professional Economists and a Companion of the British Academy of Management. Pryce is also author of several books, most recently Women vs Capitalism: Why we can’t have it all in a free market economy.
