About
Dr McKeever is from Northern Ireland where he completed his BSc (Hons) Medicinal Chemistry at Queen’s University Belfast. He decided to pursue a MSc and PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Missouri – St. Louis, in the United States, where his research was centred around novel drug design to combat antimicrobial resistance. While studying in the US, he also developed a passion for EDI and completed a post-graduate certificate in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Dr McKeever has joined Swansea University as a Pharmaceutical Chemistry lecturer and EDI lead in the Pharmacy department.
