Dr Mark Bowtell is a part-time senior lecturer supporting the Healthcare Science BSc programmes in Rehabilitation Engineering and Medical Engineering.
Mark works the majority of the time at Swansea Bay UHB’s Rehabilitation Engineering Unit where he is Deputy Head of the department, training officer, operational lead of the innovative PUPIS service. Holding a small caseload he also continues to some of the core work; assessing, designing and prescribing bespoke solutions for posture and pressure management.
Mark is a Chartered Engineer and a Healthcare Professional as a Clinical Scientist. Mark is External Examiner of the Posture course at Oxford Brookes, and End Point Assessor at UWE.
