About

Sarika Mohan is a Lecturer on the MSc Health Informatics programme at Swansea University and joined the University in 2024. 

With a background as a general dentist, Sarika brings four years of clinical experience to her teaching. During her clinical career, she developed a keen interest in health records and the revolutionary role of data in enhancing patient care and health systems. 

Sarika holds an MSc in Health Informatics from Swansea University, where she expanded her research to data privacy and security in health apps. 

She has a special interest on data visualisation and is actively involved in a research project centred on designing dashboards to facilitate and track data collection.

Teaching Interests

Sarika teaches on all modules in the MSc Health Informatics programme. 

She is the module lead for the Knowledge Management module and is enthusiastic about helping students understand the importance of effective data representation how it can drive better decision-making and improve patient outcomes in health settings globally.
