Top 3 favourite things about Swansea:
- The best part of Swansea is the natural scenery. Parks, beaches, forests, cliffs, it’s all beautiful
- The variety of activities both in terms of societies offered but also in the city
- Many ways to spend a Saturday that are unique like visiting destinations like the Gower Peninsula
Why did you choose to study your degree at Swansea?
It was the perfect blend of having enough going on to do, but lots of nature and minimal hustle and bustle of city life.
What is your favourite thing about your course?
I have really enjoyed the content of my course, I have a master’s in physics which involved next to no Biology, so it has been very enjoyable having the content at a master’s level but from the
basics up.
What are you planning/hoping to do after you graduate?
I am hoping to become a qualified Medical Physicist
Would you recommend Swansea University to other students?
Yes, and I have done. Many of my friends’ younger siblings are now students and a few of my tutoring students throughout the years are now too. Even my best friend from sixth form finished a
degree at Bath, then a PGCE at Greenwich before completing her masters at Swansea. I really do believe it is the perfect blend of nature to civilised life that feels freeing, exciting and
rewarding to explore, especially after leaving home for the first time. It’s so easy to discover what you do and don’t like when it has some of everything.
Are you/have you been part of a society?
Yes, Physoc society, I absolutely loved the socials and computer time.
