The Trent/Swansea dual Law degree structure is as follows:

The entry requirements for the Trent/Swansea Law dual degree at:

• A minimum secondary school average of 80%*.

To progress successfully to year three of the dual degree, students must complete an Intent to Continue onto Studies form in order to transfer to Swansea for the LLB, and must have:

• Successfully completed years one and two at Trent University with a minimum cumulative average of 77%;
• Successfully completed at least 10.0 Trent University credits before enrolling in classes at Swansea (a maximum of 5.0 transfer credits can be included in this total);
• Declared the programme major for the Trent BA or BBA degree;
• Obtained and provided proof of an approved Student Route study visa;
• Confirmation that they have not been found to have breached any academic regulations; and
• No known reasons to be denied access to the United Kingdom.

* This entry grade may increase annually based on the application cohort and the number of spaces available.

The LLB Law Single Honours at Swansea University will give you a comprehensive grounding in the core areas of legal study: Contract Law, Criminal Law, Land Law, Equity and Trusts, Law of Tort, and Public Law.

As your studies progress, you can choose from a wide range of specialised subject areas of law relating to business law, human rights, and criminal law. Canadian Constitutional Law, based on the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) syllabus, is available during the final year of study.
