Course Overview
Can you envision yourself as a pivotal player in a major brand's success? Are you eager to explore the fusion of modern languages with the realm of business?
The BSc Business Management (Modern Languages) at Swansea University could help you achieve this.
If you don’t attain the necessary grades to enrol on to the BSc Business Management (Modern Languages) course, the BSc Business Management (Modern Languages) with a Foundation Year degree is for you.
The Foundation Year is an excellent pathway to gaining the required knowledge and skills in business management, before joining Year 1 students of the BSc Business Management (Modern Languages) degree.
During your degree, you will explore concepts within modern languages including taster sessions in Year 1 in Mandarin, French, Italian, German, and Spanish before selecting one language as your focus in your second and third years of studies. You will also study core business modules including marketing, accounting, finance, strategy, and human resource management. The course modules are designed to ensure you have a well-rounded understanding of how a business and modern language functions ahead of joining the world of work.
The Foundation Year is taught at The College, located next to the School of Management. Once you complete this year, year one of studies will be taught at the School of Management with your second and third years taught across Singleton and Bay Campus.
