2. Register and apply

You can apply for accommodation as soon as you have your student number - it costs nothing to apply!

3. Receive your offer

You will receive a confirmation email so you can log in to update your preferences or check status

4. Accept your offer

Review and accept your contract, pay a deposit and manage your accommodation fees

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I apply for accommodation?

You should apply as soon as you receive your student number.

Applications for the 2026-27 Academic Year (for students arriving in September 2026) opened on 26th November 2025.

September arrival: 30th June is the deadline to submit an application for guaranteed accommodation.
January arrival: 18th December is the deadline to submit an application for guaranteed accommodation.

Am I guaranteed accommodation?

In line with our accommodation guarantee, you are guaranteed a place in residences if:

• You have a firm offer to study with us
• You meet the terms of your offer
• You apply by 30th June
• You accept your offer of study by 31st October

If Swansea is your firm choice but you apply after the guarantee date, we will process your application alongside insurance and Clearing students.

We’re here to support you in finding the perfect fit, so if you have specific requirements - such as accessible facilities or a preference for certain living environments - please include this in your application so we can take it into account during the allocation process.
