Accessible Buildings and Campus

At Swansea University, we are committed to making our campuses accessible to everyone. We want all students, staff and visitors to be able to use our facilities and services with ease and confidence.

With the aim of creating an inclusive campus that is welcoming to all, we recently carried out a comprehensive accessibility audit to help us identify areas where we can do better. Following this audit, we’ve made a number of improvements, including upgrades to key buildings, facilities, car parks and pathways to remove physical barriers. We are also investing in clear, up-to-date accessibility guides, which we will embed on these webpages and share on other channels, to help people plan their visits and navigate our campuses comfortably.

Looking ahead, we are committed to introducing further phased improvements to ensure our buildings and campuses continue to meet the highest possible standards of accessibility.

If you have any feedback or suggestions in the meantime on how we can improve accessibility across our estate, you can email us at: campusdevelopment@swansea.ac.uk.
