About Us
As a part of the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law, Swansea University, the focus of the newly established Centre for Professional Legal Practice is to ensure those who have decided to enter the legal profession as Solicitors continue to be educated and supported in a centre of excellence.
The postgraduate programmes for law and non-law graduates build upon a well-established foundation of teaching aspiring solicitors for over 20 years. The Centre will continue to deliver successful and well-established professional student-centred education with the aim of supporting any student in achieving their goals in the legal profession.
The highly experienced teaching team are all practising / non-practising lawyers with an extensive knowledge of teaching the solicitors of tomorrow. Developed from a network of connections to legal practice, the Centre’s work placement programme and employability events provide a launchpad for each student to maximise every employability opportunity both as current students and as alumni.
