The IISTL are delighted to announce that Stobbs, a global law firm with offices in London, Cambridge, Munich, Dublin, and Eindhoven, has taken the decision to introduce a new Prize for Intellectual Property and Innovation LLM students at Swansea.
Stobbs have defined the category of Intangible Asset Management and have an industry-leading breadth of capability to advise on brand issues. Many of these key capabilities, including trademarks, copyright, designs, domains and online brand enforcement, are areas covered to an expert level in the Intellectual Property Law modules at Swansea University. The introduction of this prize from such a prestigious firm will be an invaluable asset to those students at Swansea looking to build their futures in intellectual property.
Dr. Ekiz, module director of the IP in the Context of Creative Industries module said the following:
“We are extremely grateful for the opportunity Stobbs is offering our students, and we are eager to see this new partnership flourish.
“Our LLM programme in IP Law is fast-growing and it is excellent that a global firm like Stobbs has recognised the value of our LLM IP students, and decided to invest in the development of the next generation of IP lawyers.”
