The Data Science Building was established in the same model of the Institute of Life Science, and is the home of our Patient and Population Health and Informatics plus Population Data Science research and projects. The Data Science Building is a secure building across 6 floors, comprising office space and secure servers.
The Data Science activities of the Medical School have attracted £30million of UK Government funding. This makes the servers in the building one of the main Data linkage sites for anonymised health data.
