Swansea University has been shortlisted in six categories for this year’s WhatUni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs).
The annual awards celebrate the hard work of higher education institutions across the UK and is the leading higher education awards ceremony based solely on student reviews.
The WUSCAs are based on the reviews of more than 35,000 students studying in the UK and provide prospective students with a unique and unbiased alternative to traditional university ranking systems. This student-led approach to review collection and written submissions mean that shortlisted universities are recognised by students for delivering an exceptional experience.
Based on reviews provided by Swansea students, the University has been shortlisted in the following categories:
- Career Prospects
- Lecturers and Teaching Quality
- Student Life
- Postgraduate
- International
- Submission-based award
Professor Deborah Youngs, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education), said: “Given that WhatUni Awards are voted for by students, it is a great honour to see that Swansea has been shortlisted in six categories.
