Who are Young carers?
A young adult carer is someone under the age of 25 who provides unpaid support to family and friends who could not manage without this help. This could be caring for a relative, partner or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has a mental health or substance misuse problem.
Events:
Summer School
A two day residential Summer school for young carers aged 15-18 years old. This an opportunity for young carers to meet students from similar backgrounds and experience student life in a supportive environment. There will be a chance to try out a range of different subjects as well as take part in social activities
