All research projects that require sponsorship with the requirements of the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research (2017) need to be reviewed and agreed by the SUSOC. To submit to SUSOC, the research project documents in final draft with IRAS number/version/date in footers and on file names need to be sent to Research Governance.
They will organise the review, feedback and signature, and then issue the Letter in Principle and the SU insurance document needed for the IRAS checklist and submission. The review period will be no longer than 10 working days once the application is checked and valid.
