Jordan is a lecturer in Criminology in the department of Criminology, Sociology and Social Policy.
His doctoral research focuses on male sex workers experiences of violence and otherwise harmful behaviours, highlighting the impact of masculinities, stigma and policing practice on the perceived barriers to reporting.
Prior to beginning an academic career with Swansea University, Jordan worked on the research team at the National Vulnerability Knowledge and Practice Programme, a programme aimed at supporting and developing the policing response to vulnerability in England and Wales.
