Law Degrees

LLB Law (With or Without a Year Abroad) - 3 or 4 years

Focus on law and choose from a wide variety of optional modules to shape your own degree, with over forty to choose from in your second and third years.

LLB Law with Criminology (With or Without a Year Abroad) - 3 or 4 years

Gain a practical understanding of criminality, victimisation and the criminal justice system combined with a law degree.

LLB Business Law (With or Without a Year Abroad) - 3 or 4 years

Focus on aspects of business and commercial law and specialise in areas including trade law, media law, commercial sales, and employment law.

LLB Law with Politics (With or Without a Year Abroad) - 3 or 4 years

A law degree that combines the study of the legal system in England and Wales with key aspects of national and international politics.

LLB Law with International Relations (With or Without a Year Abroad) - 3 or 4 years

Develop knowledge of our legal system and the wider global society, by combining a law degree with an exploration into the relationships between nations, their leaders and their corporations.

LLB Law (JD Pathway) - 3 years

Focus on law and shape your own degree, with a wide variety of optional modules to choose from in your second and third years

LLB Law (Accelerated JD Pathway) - 2 years

An intensive two-year law degree that is designed specifically for non-law graduates of Canadian universities.

LLB Law (Senior Status) - 2 years 

A law degree taught over two years for non-law graduates from outside the UK.

 

Year in Practice Programmes

LLB Law in Practice - 4 years

Our LLB Single Honours Law degree with an additional year spent in practice, with an internship in a legal setting.

LLB Law in Practice with Criminology - 4 years

This degree provides an understanding of the UK legal system, combined with knowledge of crime and criminal behaviour, and a year-long internship in a legal setting.

LLB Business Law in Practice - 4 years

Study the LLB Business Law in Practice to earn a specialised business law degree with a dedicated year spent at an internship in a legal setting.

LLB Law in Practice with Politics - 4 years

Combine a law degree with an exploration of national and international politics, along side a year-long internship in a legal setting.

LLB Law in Practice with International Relations - 4 years

A law degree that brings together in-depth study of our legal system with an exploration of key aspects of international relations, along with a year spent at an internship in a legal setting.

 

Foundation Year Programmes

LLB Law with a Foundation Year - 4 years

Undertake a Foundation Year, followed by an LLB focused solely on law, with a range of optional modules enabling you to shape your own learning.

LLB Law with Criminology with a Foundation Year - 4 years

Complete a Foundation Year, followed by an LLB that combines the study of criminality and criminal policy with an in-depth coverage of the laws of England and Wales.

LLB Law with Politics with a Foundation Year - 4 years

A four-year programme, beginning with a Foundation Year, which is followed by a law degree that also look at key aspects of national and international politics.

LLB Law with International Relations with a Foundation Year - 4 years

Complete your Foundation Year, followed by a law degree that combines the study of the legal system in England and Wales with key aspects of international relations, giving you a global perspective on key issues.

LLB Law in Practice with a Foundation Year - 5 years

Undertake a Foundation Year, then take on a 4-year LLB programme, which includes a year spent in practice with a law-focused internship. 

LLB Law in Practice with Criminology with a Foundation Year - 5 years

Study a Foundation Year, followed by a 4-year LLB programme, combining the study of criminal justice with an understanding of the laws of England and Wales, and an additional year spent at a legal internship.

LLB Law in Practice with Politics with a Foundation Year - 5 years

LLB Law in Practice with International Relations with a Foundation Year - 5 years
