Not an emergency.
You can report the hate crime or incident to our Third-Party Hate Crime Reporting Centre, the SU Advice and Support Centre, by filling out an online form.
The SU Advice and Support Centre on campus has a team of trained Advisors who can provide you with free, impartial and confidential advice and representation, independent of the University.
They can support you through a number of legal issues and personal matters, across money, welfare, academic, housing, harassment and sexual violence.
They offer face/face appointments Monday-Friday 10-3pm at their Singleton office on the ground floor of Fulton House. Their Bay Campus offices are closed for Summer but they can arrange appointments there if needed. Please emails them to arrange a appointment.

The Listening Service
We offer a confidential and non-judgmental listening service for students who need a sympathetic ear.
There doesn’t have to be a specific problem you want to discuss, sometimes just talking it out can help relieve some of the pressure of student life.

We want to support you in getting the most from your studies and personal life, whilst you are here and after you graduate.
We offer resources, self-help strategies, online services, support sessions and counselling to help you manage your wellbeing.
External Support
True Vision - Report a Hate Crime
True Vision offers guidance on reporting hate crime and hate incidents. If you do not wish to talk to anyone in person about the incident or wish to remain anonymous, there is an online form for reporting hate crime; you can report non-crime hate incidents to the police to try and prevent any escalation in seriousness.
Report via Victim Support
Victim Support are a third-party reporting and supportive service that is independent from the Police.
Zoteria - LGBT+ Hate Report and Support App
Zoteria is an app developed by Vodafone Foundation and in partnership with Stonewall and Gallop.
You can anonymously report LGBTQ+ hate incidents that occur to yourself or others.
Citizens Advice
Citizens Advice provides useful informaton on varying types of harassment and hate crime.
Stop Hate UK
Stop Hate UK provides independent, confidential and accessible reporting and support for victims, witnesses and third parties.
Galop - An LGBT+ anti-violence charity that support victims of hate, violence and abuse.
Galop is an LGBT+ anti-violence charity who support people who have experienced hate crime, sexual violence or domestic abuse. They also support lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer people who have had problems with the police or have questions about the criminal justice system.
Tell MAMA - supports victims of anti-muslim hate
Tell MAMA supports victims of anti-Muslim hate and is a public service which also measures and monitors anti-Muslim incidents.
Community Security Trust - helps victims of anti-Semitic hatred
Community Security Trust (CS) helps those who are victims of anti-Semitic hatred, harassment or bias.
Travelling Ahead - support for victims of anti-Gypsy, anti-Roma or anti-Traveller hate.
If you’ve experienced a crime and you think it’s because you’re Gypsy, Roma or Traveller, you can get advice from Travelling Ahead. They can help you decide if you want to go to the police.
Calls are free from mobiles and landlines.
If you don’t want to go to the police, Victim Support can report the crime to the police for you.
Safer Students - contact your local PCSO for support
Safer Students aims to provide crime prevention, safety and general advice for all university students across South Wales.
Umbrella Cymru - Gender and Sexual Diversity Support Specialists and third-party hate reporting service.
