Swansea University alumnus Dr Daniel Bassey has been selected as a global finalist in the British Council Study UK Alumni Awards 2021.

These prestigious awards honour individuals who are leaders in their fields and have used their experience of studying at a UK university to positively contribute to their communities, industries, and countries.

On his experience studying in the UK, Dr Bassey said: "My studies gave me a worldwide view and equipped me with strategies that I was able to use throughout my career.
