Observed every 8th of March, International Women's Day (IWD) celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. Dedicated to accelerating women's equality, IWD also marks a global call to action to lobby for gender parity.
IWD's 2023 theme is #EmbraceEquity. The campaign seeks to forge worldwide understanding about why equal opportunities are not enough. This year's theme brings a focus on gender equity vs equality and that true inclusion and belonging require equitable action.
