The Porth
The Porth is a collaborative e-learning platform. It was set up in 2009 to encourage universities to share their Welsh-medium teaching resources and has grown to be a focal point for studying and teaching through the medium of welsh at universities in Wales.
It is based on Blackboard and is accessible to staff and students in all Welsh universities.
It includes:
- Electronic resources and teaching materials
- A website gallery
- Modules and materials
- A searchable portal for Higher Education Terms
Although the Porth includes a number of open resources, you will need to register as a user to gain access to some resources (e.g. certain modules).
The registration process is straight forward - just follow the instructions on the Porth's home page.
