Georgia Davies

Law. Class of 2013. Olympian.

Georgia made her senior breakthrough at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. She won bronze in the 50-metre backstroke and also made the finals in the 100 metre backstroke. She then competed for team GB at the 2011 World Championships and in 2012 at the London Olympics.

In the 2014 Commonwealth Games Georgia won gold in the 50-metre backstroke, setting a games record in the process. Georgia also grabbed a silver in the 100-metre backstroke.

Georgia went to her second Olympics in 2016 but lost out in the semi-finals, finishing 10th.

A third Commonwealth games beckoned in 2018. Davies returned from Australia with 2 bronze medals from the 50-metre backstroke and the 4 x 100 metre medley relay.

Gold came again in the 2018 European Championships through the 50-metre backstroke and the 4 x 100 metre medley relay.
