Tell us about your time at Swansea?
I had an amazing time during my studies at Swansea, making lifelong skills, friends and memories.

Why did you choose to study your degree at Swansea?
I initially chose Swansea due to the reputation of the International Relations and Politics department but was blown away by the beach when I arrived. As a Cardiff boy I had a lot of misconceptions about Swansea which were quickly dispelled once I arrived.

Would you recommend Swansea University to someone thinking of going to University?

Swansea University is an outstanding place to study and my years there were integral to my growth and finding out who I actually wanted to be in this world.

How did your degree prepare you for your career?
Although I’m not a political comedian and writer, the skills that I learnt during my studies have been invaluable to me. Whether that’s presentation skills, having the ability to think critically or just the soft skills that you pick up in a mature learning environment.

What advice would you give to students who want to pursue your career?
Just do it, be prepared to fail and embrace the failure - at there’s always valuable lessons to learn.
