Swansea University, in collaboration with The Black Swimming Association (BSA) are putting together a water familiarisation session to help you understand and find your place in the world of swimming and aquatics. You will learn essential water safety skills, put those skills into practice in the water and take part in a discussion on your relationship with water. The session will include:
- A short water safety workshop
- A taster of the BSA’s water familiarisation programme in the pool
- A short discussion on how we can share water safety messages within our communities
Join us on Thursday 26th October between 18:30 and 20:30 at Wales National Pool Swansea, Sketty Lane, Sketty, Swansea SA2 8QG.

We want to work with everyone, no matter what ability, to help build your water confidence and kickstart your aquatic journey. All that we ask is that you come with an open mind and are ready to engage.
16 spaces are available, you will need to complete all 3 forms below to sign up. Sign-ups will close on the 13th of October and will be based on a first come first served basis. Once you have completed all forms, a member of staff from the BSA will be in contact to confirm your place.
