Education Zone

The main reason everyone comes to University is to study, so it’s important that you’re happy with your education.  The Students’ Union’s Education Zone exists to help with that.

The Education Zone has one aim - to make sure that you get to have your say on your own education. It's only fair that your education is what you want it to be. 

The Education Zone is run by the Students' Union, along with the Uni, and it's headed up by your Education Officer. There are of hundreds of students who act as Subject Reps and College Reps to represent you and take any issues or feedback you have about your course to the Uni.

There are a number of academic societies to help you meet people on your course or similar courses and discuss the work. It’s also important that you make sure you speak to your lecturers if you have any questions or issues. The Students’ Union exists to ensure that you receive all the support you need, even beyond the walls of the lecture halls.

Hi, I’m Michelle your Education Officer!

As the Education Officer, my role is to provide support and representation for all Swansea University Students. I work with the 3 Faculties, over 350 Subjects and 33 School Reps to make sure students continue to have a voice in their Education. During my free time, I enjoy creating content as it allows me to explore my creative side. I take pride in being very friendly and approachable, so if you ever need to talk or someone to listen, drop me a dm!
