Applied Medical Sciences student Caelan Mulligan joined Swansea University after studying his International Baccalaureate at the British International School of Houston.

Dominica Khoo was one of the first participants in Swansea's exchange programme with Texas A&M University.
After graduating in 2015, Dominica continued onto MRes and then PhD studies, and in 2018 took up a role as a Mechanical Analysis Engineer at Dyson in Kuala Lumpur.

Otteh Edubio was one of the first participants in Swansea's exchange programme with Texas A&M University.
After graduating in 2015 with a degree in Medical Engineering, he secured a job in R&D with Smith & Nephew. In 2019 he relcocated to Cambodia where he now works for OKRA Solar, a social enterprise which is helping provide reliable power to 900 million people who live off-grid in Cambodia, the Philippines and Indonesia.

Alistair Barnes from East Sussex graduated in 1990 with a degree in Chemistry and Management Science.
He moved to Houston shortly afterwards to work in the insurance industry and since 2009 he has worked for AmWINS group, one of the largest wholesale insurance brokers in the US.
In Houston Alistair has founded Mission Squash, an intensive urban youth enrichment programme which aims to give young people from underprivileged homes the opportunity to make a better future for themselves through academic coaching, squash training and community service.
Matthew Ware from Swansea completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Swansea before enrolling on its collaborative PhD with Houston Methodist Research Institute.
After graduating, Matthew remained in Texas, researching new treatments for pancreatic and hepatic cancers at Baylor College of Medicine. His research resulted in two patents, including the CorleyWare Device - a new intra-operative devic to treat portions of cancer that cannot be removed by a surgeon’s scalpel.
Matthew currently works as a senior scientist at Bristol Myers-Squibb where he is focused on delivering better medicines for patients with cancer.
Vijay Bhagi graduated from Swansea University in 1966 with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
Originally from Bombay (now Mumbai), Vijay was co-founder and secretary of Swansea University's Association of Students of Indian Origin.
Vijay worked as a process engineer in Scotland, India and Texas for companies including BP Chemicals and Technip. Now retired, Vijay lives in Sugarland, a suburb of Houston.
