The GwyddonLe is the science pavilion at the National Urdd Eisteddfod

Swansea University formed a partnership with Urdd Gobaith Cymru in 2011 to support and develop the GwyddonLe, which is the science tent at the Urdd. Academi Hywel Teifi's staff annually organise the committee of Science specialists from the University to plan the interactive activities for young visitors of all ages.

Activities include outreach activities prior to the Eisteddfod week in the form of school visits, workshops and competitions. The Morgan Institute Challenge has been part of the GwyddonLe activities since 2018. It is an opportunity for pupils to demonstrate their reasoning and argumentation skills as well as receive feedback from leading figures who will be judging the competition.

Through the GwyddonLe the Academi ensures that the University's Welsh-medium staff andpostgraduate students can bring science alive to the tens of thousands of young people who visit the Field providing a platform for the Universities specialties and scientific projects. The Academi has ensured that the GwyddonLe has continually progressed and developed in terms of space, facilities and output, working in partnership with national organisations such as S4C.
