Welcome to our book club. Discover brilliant books from exciting new authors!

All alumni, staff and students welcome!

If you love books and want to find exciting new reads from the latest bold, innovative or thrilling new authors, then join our book club. We’ll be shining a light on some of the best Swansea alumni authors as well as Dylan Thomas Prize winners.

We’ll discuss what made you laugh, cry or gasp with amazement, and why. It’s the perfect way to connect with like-minded readers from the comfort of your own home.

Each session will be led by hosts Bronte or Jon, all Swansea graduates with a passion for literature. An online discussion about the book will take place on Zoom every other month and you can become part of our Book Club community too. Find out more about how to sign-up below.

How to sign up

  • Join Swansea Uni Connect, our alumni networking platform, which provides a private, safe space for our club.
  • Once you’ve signed up, click on Groups in the left-hand menu and join the Book Club group. Here you’ll find details on how to register for the next session.
  • Bronte, Eddie and Jon will post regular updates, thoughts and questions on the group to help spark discussion. We’d love to get everyone talking so don’t be shy, share your thoughts with us too.
