In 2016, Swansea University approved and launched a new holistic and integrated approach to the Quality Assurance and Enhancement of programmes and subject areas – the Quality Review process. This replaced the previous Periodic Programme Reviews, and Student Experience Engagement Review processes, to deliver a new data-informed and holistic approach to the continuous monitoring and  enhancement of subject areas and programmes performance. The Quality Review process examines a range of evidence relating to individual student experience, the modules, the programme and the overall University. As a result, the following discrete elements Quality Review process at Swansea University include:
